By train: The St Keyne Wishing Well Halt is one of the last train stations in the UK to contain the word ‘halt’ in its title, since all other timetables and station signs removed the term in 1974. The other two which use this designation are Coombe Junction, which is on the same line, and IBM Halt in Scotland.
Trains go to and from Looe, Dockyard Devon and Plymouth from the St Keyne Wishing Well Halt, which opened in 1902. You must still signal the conductor if you want to get on or off at that station, something you should remember if you’re planning to visit!
