Egg-citing Easter activities across the UK!

The Easter holidays are just around the corner and filling the two-week void created by the school holidays can be daunting. There’s plenty to do this Easter so why not hop along to some Easter events?

In case you haven’t noticed, it’s the first Bank Holiday since New Year – but don’t worry these events will entertain you as well as the kids.

Trawling through the internet can be time-consuming so here’s a breakdown of the best Easter activities in the best U.K locations:

The Manchester Duck Race

19th April, 11am – 4pm, River Irwell, New Bailey

It’s Return of the Quack as the annual Manchester Duck Race hits its 10th year. Purchase a duck and race as a business, family, friends or on your own. There will be lots to do with cracking family activities and entertainment available!

Cadbury’s Easter Egg Hunts: 3rd-28th April, over 260 locations UK The National Trust and Cadbury’s have teamed up for an exciting combination of chocolate and discovery – search high and low across National Trust sites for tasty treats. If you’re at a grand castle or on a nature trail you’re sure to have a fantastic family adventure.

Edinburgh International Science Festival

6th-21st April, various venues across Edinburgh

Easter Holidays at The Hancock Museum 6th -22nd April, Newcastle Perfect for animal lovers – meet creepy-crawlies, fabulous falconry and little creatures. Jawsome Sharks – Easter Shark Egg Hunt! 6th-28th April, selected SEA LIFE centres across the UK Did you know that over 100 shark species lay eggs? Take part in a different type of egg hunt this Easter. Meet Professor Finn and look for shark eggs and teeth in the aquarium.
