Leeds City Museum
With four different floors and six different galleries, the museum is the perfect place to explore. You can uncover the history of Nesyamun, the ancient Egyptian mummy in his final tomb, inspect a 152-year-old long-finned whale’s skeleton or learn about the city itself.
The Henry Moore Institute
A world recognised centre for sculpture, playing homage to the visual arts, holding unique exhibitions and events. The centre holds one of the strongest collections of sculpture in Britain and is based in the city centre.
The Tetley
A stunning art-deco building and the former Tetley’s brewery, ‘The Tetley’ is now a popular contemporary art centre. The centre hosts an everchanging collection of art exhibitions and workshops along with a café serving Tetley’s itself!

The Swine That Dines

The Corn Exchange
Built in the 1860s, The Corn Exchange was originally used for farmers markets. The building has remained a staple of the city’s culture today with its spectacular architecture it now houses quirky independent retailers.
Trinity Leeds
Shopaholics will love the Trinity Leeds shopping centre: shop till you drop at over 130 national and international stores. Perfect if you fancy treating yourself or just grabbing a coffee at one of the cafes!
Leeds Kirkgate Market
This is one of the largest indoor markets in Europe selling everything from fresh food to fashion and flowers. The market oozes character, with an extra 200 stalls spilling out onto the street on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays selling flea market goods and Asian bazaar.
