These events cater to all forms of public transport, so attending by rail is usually easy and well guided. Here are the top UK Festivals to attend by train this year:
Reading and Leeds Festival

How to get there by train:
There are frequent trains from London to Reading Train Station, then it is a 20-minute walk to the site of the festival.
RiZE Festival
When: 17th – 18th August

Where: Hylands Park (Chelmsford) and Weston Park (Staffordshire)
How to get there by train:
Take the train to Chelmsford Rail station, where you can take your pre-booked space on one of the shuttle buses that will take you straight to the festival.
British Summer Time (BST) Festival
When: 6th – 14th July
Headline Acts: Santana, Bruno Mars, The Cure, Eric Clapton
Where: Hyde Park, London
How to get there by train:
This festival is based in the centre of London so is accessible by most Tube stations, Overground trains and buses. Trains to London can be bought in advance to save money from NationalRail.com.
TRNSMT Festival
When: 29th June – 8th July
Headline Acts: Arctic Monkeys, Queen with Adam Lambert, The Killers, Liam Gallagher
Where: Glasgow Green (Glasgow)
How to get there by train:
This festival is in the centre of Glasgow and is within a 15-minute walk from the following train stations:
Glasgow Central Station, Glasgow Queen Street Station, Glasgow High Street Station, or Glasgow Argyle Street Station.
Wireless Festival
When: 6th – 8th July
Headline Acts: J.Cole, Stormzy, DJ Khaled, Post Malone
Where: Finsbury Park (London)

This festival is also based in London, just a 6 minute Tube journey from Kings Cross Station to Finsbury Park Underground Station.
